The Quality Teaching framework as a basis for improving teaching in Australia’s schools
A research forum presented by the Teachers and Teaching Research Program at the University of Newcastle
This forum provides an opportunity for academics, graduate students, and school and system personnel interested in improving teaching and teacher education to engage with findings from a decade-long program of research using the Quality Teaching framework. As Australia responds to the recommendations of the Teacher Education Ministerial Advisory Group, this forum explores the potential of the Quality Teaching framework and the Quality Teaching Rounds approach to teacher development for serving a range of important agendas while fundamentally respecting the work of teachers and teacher educators.
